Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using medojob.com. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Medojob.com, hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "Medojob". We are an online healthcare career platform based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and these Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Medojob, including its related subdomains, websites, mobile applications, services, and tools (collectively referred to as the "Site").

By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the "User Agreement"). This User Agreement becomes effective upon your use of the Site and signifies your acceptance of its terms. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not access, register with, or use the Site.

The Site is owned and operated by Medojob Ltd. We reserve the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on the Site. We encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions periodically. Your continued use of the Site following any changes will constitute your acceptance of those changes.

Medojob.com is designed to serve as a trusted platform exclusively for the healthcare sector, facilitating initial contact and the exchange of information between healthcare professionals, employers, and career service providers. It is intended exclusively for individuals and organizations with a genuine interest in exploring or offering real healthcare employment opportunities and career development services.

2. The Services

2.1

By means of the Site, Medojob makes available an online healthcare recruitment and employment information service, where healthcare recruiters and employers place advertisements for positions which they have available. If interested, you as a job seeker may submit responses to such positions (the "Services"). Job listings on this platform are intended for roles within the healthcare and medical industries, including but not limited to physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, administrative staff, and healthcare management roles.

2.2

Please note that when responding to recruiters or employers you will be dealing with them directly, and as such any contracts and/or arrangements will be formed between you and them, without Medojob as a party. Medojob cannot be held liable for your use of or any liability arising out of such arrangements (save to the extent required by law).

2.3

The Services are only available upon completion of the registration section of the Site, including confirmation that the relevant Terms and Conditions have been read and accepted.

3. Conditions of Use

Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your visit to the Site and is incorporated herein by reference. The personal information and data provided to us by you, or generated through your use of the Site, will be treated as strictly confidential in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Alberta provincial legislation.

Your personal data may be collected and processed by Medojob for purposes relating to your use of the Site and the Services, as well as for relevant marketing activities. If you do not wish to receive marketing material from Medojob or carefully selected third parties, you may indicate this preference during registration or by notifying us at info@medojob.com.

C Platform

You agree, understand, and acknowledge that the Site is an online platform that enables healthcare job seekers to apply for positions and healthcare employers or recruiters to post job listings. You acknowledge that Medojob is a facilitator and not a party to any transactions or agreements between job seekers and employers or recruiters. Contracts formed through the platform are strictly between you and the respective employer, recruiter, or job seeker.

D Continued Availability of the Site

We will do our utmost to ensure that access to the Site is consistently available and is uninterrupted and error-free. However, due to the nature of the Internet and the Site, this cannot be guaranteed. Access to the Site may occasionally be suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. All liability of Medojob, its directors, or employees, howsoever arising for any loss whatsoever arising from your use of or inability to use the Site and/or the Services is excluded, insofar as it is possible to do so in law.

E License to Use the Site

You are strictly prohibited from using the Site for fraudulent purposes, in connection with a criminal offense, or any other unlawful activity, including but not limited to sending material that is illegal, deceptive, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise injurious to third parties; threatening the security or sovereignty of Canada; or sending spam, chain letters, or unsolicited commercial solicitations.

G User Submissions

Any content you submit — such as resumes, credentials, job posts, feedback, or suggestions — grants Medojob a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, or modify it for platform improvement or promotional purposes, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Misleading, fabricated, or impersonated content is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and/or legal action.

H Healthcare Professional Credentials & Compliance

Given the sensitive and regulated nature of healthcare employment, all users who represent themselves as licensed healthcare professionals agree to the following:

  • You must ensure that any professional credentials, licenses, certifications, or registrations listed on your profile or resume are accurate, current, and verifiable.
  • You acknowledge that it is your responsibility — and that of the hiring employer — to verify licensure and registration status with the relevant provincial or national regulatory authority (e.g., the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta, or equivalent bodies).
  • Medojob does not independently verify the credentials of any job seeker and makes no representations regarding the licensure status of any individual listed on the platform.
  • Employers are solely responsible for conducting appropriate credential verification and background checks in accordance with applicable provincial healthcare regulations before making any hiring decisions.
  • Posting or misrepresenting false or lapsed credentials is strictly prohibited and may constitute fraud. Medojob reserves the right to remove any such content and report it to relevant regulatory authorities.

By using Medojob, healthcare professionals and employers alike acknowledge the critical importance of credential accuracy in the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care and accept responsibility for ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards.

Medojob hosts job listings, employer profiles, job seeker profiles, career resources, and user-generated content such as reviews, comments, testimonials, and blogs. While we strive to maintain a professional and respectful environment, we do not pre-screen all content published on the platform. We operate on a "report, review, and remove" basis for content that may be deemed inappropriate, unlawful, or offensive.

If you come across any material on the platform that you believe violates legal or ethical standards, you are encouraged to report it immediately by emailing info@medojob.com with your full name, contact information, a description of the objectionable content, your reasons for the objection, and any supporting evidence.

Please ensure that your submission is accurate and complete, as false or baseless complaints may result in delays or rejection of the report. Medojob reserves the right to take appropriate measures against users who misuse this process, including legal action if necessary.
